The Magic of the Moment Live in the Here and Now!

You may have heard of it, or it may be new to you. Either way, the magic of the present moment is being talked about more and more. It\’s a paradox, but 80%of us cannot live in the present moment. As our bodies breathe and we read these lines, for a brief moment we realize that now is the very moment, but in that brief moment our thoughts either turn to the obligations that await us or to what has already happened and is somehow haunting us in the present moment They turn to.

But it is futile. We cannot change what has already happened, and what has not yet happened should not bother us in the present moment. Learning to live only in the present moment is not as easy as it may seem. But with regular practice, there is a good chance that this skill will improve.

Relaxation and meditation are ideal. For starters, I recommend trying guided meditation. There is no need to immediately go to a special course; nowadays you can already find good meditation courses on the Internet. Closely related to this is the practice of yoga. Yoga is about the wonderful connection between body and mind, and it is impossible to concentrate on anything other than what is happening.

If you don\’t feel like practicing the above, just go out into nature, close your eyes, and focus on what is around you. Don\’t be afraid to engage your senses. Be aware of what you hear. It could be the chirping of birds, the murmuring of a stream, or the buzzing of bees flying by. Feel the fresh breeze on your face or the comforting warmth of the sun. You might smell the fragrance of blooming lavender or freshly cut grass. By embracing it all, you will be amazed at how you gradually become aware of many things at once.

Living in the present moment is common to all religions. Be it Buddhism in general or American Indian religions. There is nothing mystical hidden in the present moment. What is the purpose of our life? To be happy. From the smallest to the biggest. And when else can we be happy but in this moment?
